Island Life - London City Island

This project is based on a planned exhibition and book for London City Island, A new residential neighbourhood in London being developed By Ballymore. The Island will be home to the English National Ballet, and The London Film School. The developer's vision is make the Island a new Cultural Hub in East London. The exhibition and book are aimed at using Photography to give an insight about and lives of the new residents, "The Islanders". as they are called. and to trace the history of this area known as Orchard Place situated on the Leamouth Peninsula, Looking at Its maritime heritage going back to the early Settlers, through to its industrial past and to the present day transformation back to a residential neighbourhood.
